Seamen’s Bank has been alerted that some of our customers are receiving text messages claiming to be from the Bank. The message claims that there is a problem with your Seamen’s Bank account. Seamen’s Bank will not contact you via text message if there is a problem with your account. These text messages are fraudulent and should be ignored. The only time you will be contacted via text message from Seamen’s Bank is through your choice involving online banking authentication. If you have received and responded to a text message of this nature please contact any of our branches to discuss an appropriate course of action.
