We have been made aware of customers receiving a Text Message from Savings Bank Alert: Your CARD has been temporarily DEACTIVATED. Please call our Card Services 24hrs line (508) XXX-XXXX.
We have called the line and it does answer “Card Services 24 Hour Card Activation Service”; explains card needs to be reactivated due to recent software update; asks for 16 digit account number; expiration date and four digit PIN.
If customers have responded to this Text – they should immediately notify Seamen’s Bank at 508-487-0035 ext. 1114 and we will hot card and reissue a new card.
