Provincetown, MA – Seamen’s Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Carol Forgione, Vice President of Talent and Culture, to the Board of Directors of Cape Cod Habitat for Humanity. Forgione will also serve as Chair of its Human Resources Committee.

“Giving back to the community is a key element of the Bank’s core values, and Ms. Forgione’s service in this regard is reflective of those values”, said Lori Meads, President and CEO of Seamen’s Bank. “It is an honor to be able to volunteer for an organization that is making such a strong impact in addressing the need for affordable housing on Cape Cod, and I appreciate the Bank’s support as I take on this role” said Forgione. 

Ms. Forgione joined Seamen’s Bank as the leader of its Human Resources function in August 2021, where her extensive background in all areas of talent management has helped the Bank to continue to grow and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Prior to joining the Bank, Ms. Forgione served as Director of Human Resources for a local regional school district for six years, and previous to that as Vice President and Director of Human Resources for a local community bank for nine years. She holds a BS in Business Administration from UMass Lowell, and an MBA from Rivier College. With a strong commitment to community service, Ms. Forgione has been an advisor to the Human Resources Committee for Cape Cod Habitat for Humanity for the past several years, and previously served on its Board. She also serves on the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School Committee, as a representative for the town of Brewster, where she has resided for over twenty years with her husband Joseph and where they have raised their two children, one who has just started college and another who is in Middle School.
