Seamen’s Bank Long Point Charitable Foundation is proud to announce a $15,000 donation to Pause A While Inc. This commitment will help purchase its current facility and adjacent lot at 26 Giddiah Hill Road, Orleans MA.
The Pause is a facility dedicated to hosting 12-step recovery meetings. These meetings are the long-term treatment component for alcoholism and drug addiction. Two hundred people per day attend meetings at the Pause to achieve and maintain their sobriety. 12-step meetings have been held at the current location for nearly 20 years. The Pause also provides space for meetings supporting the loved ones and families of those who are suffering from addiction and/or alcoholism. These include meetings to support teenage children with one or both parents who are alcoholic and/or addicted.
