Provincetown, MA— The Seamen’s Bank Long Point Charitable Foundation recently donated to The Fleet Fund. This new local nonprofit is dedicated to helping those who need financial assistance in the Wellfleet Community.
“The Fleet Fund has emerged as a channel for Wellfleetians to help their neighbors in need of emergency financial assistance” said President of The Fleet Fund, Paula Erickson. “The support of trusted community partners like Seamen’s Bank means we have begun to serve this need, never before so obvious as during this pandemic. We are grateful to Seamen’s for donating both time and capital to the early success of The Fleet Fund.”
The Fleet Fund partners with social service agencies, educational institutions and other organizations to provide an additional, flexible and confidential source of assistance.
