As part of our continued focus to support our local communities during these challenging times, we are happy to announce our recent $3,500 donation to Lower Cape Ambulance Association.
“Lower Cape Ambulance is grateful for the support of Seamen’s Bank” said Steve Roderick, Chief Operating Officer of Lower Cape Ambulance Association. “Since 1937, LCAA has provided emergency transports to Cape Cod Hospital, when we have needed financing for new equipment or support for events, Seamen’s Bank has been there. They are truly a community partner and as we navigate through 2020, Seamen’s support will allow us to seed our food drive and provide funding for additional personal protective equipment”.
“We are appreciative of the work that the Lower Cape Ambulance Association provides to our communities on the Lower and Outer Cape” said Lori Meads, President and CEO of Seamen’s Bank. “Their Board and Staff are dedicated and committed to protecting us each and every day”
Lower Cape Ambulance Association began in 1937, for the sole purpose of transporting citizens and their guests to Cape Cod Hospital. Today, Lower Cape Ambulance transports almost 1100 patients each year to Cape Cod Hospital as well as responding to hundreds of local area rescue calls.
