Congratulations to Uelia Hayward, our Employee of the Year, and Vance Bates, our Teller of the Year! Uelia and Vance have been recognized for their motivation and willingness to go beyond expectations to assist their customers and co-workers.
Uelia has over twenty-five years of experience in the banking industry and joined Seamen’s Bank as an Electronic Payment Specialist in May 2023. As Digital Banking Manager Uelia will focus on enhancing and optimizing our new digital banking services, products, and features. “Uelia’s superior customer service skills and attention to detail will support and educate customers that enroll in our digital platforms and electronic services” said Lori Meads, President, and CEO. Uelia has been a member of the Kiwanis of Lower Cape Cod and currently serves as Treasurer for the Eastham Conservation Foundation.
Vance joined the Eastham Branch as a Seasonal Teller in 2022 while attending Keene State College. Upon graduation, Vance became a full-time Teller at the Eastham Branch and has excelled at providing great service to our customers and community members. “Vance’s initiative and commitment to learning will ensure that the personal level of service provided to our customers will exceed their expectations,” said Lori Meads, President and CEO “Our commitment to the personal and professional growth of our employees is how we foster a culture of inclusiveness and support.”
